No….We are in the process of migrating everything to ESX I 5.1 and this cluster ( the first cluster ) has 10 hosts. We have many more to get upgraded. The 400 I mentioned was the real number of Hosts
That will be upgraded as well as getting the new 10 GB FcOE uplinks.
Again, my question is can I use the same Management Interface Vmkernal port for NFS as well? will there be any performance or any other concerns?
There is absolutely no plans to keep VM’s in NFS datastores. We are a pure Fiber Channel Storage shop. Here the question is will there be any issues in using Management Interface and one NFS datastore which ONLY contains few ISO files.
Thanks
