HELP !! I'm back. The USB flash drive was finally accessible yesterday but today it ain't. Instead 2 err msgs result from trying to read the drive on guest VM (Win XP) -

(1) "USB device unable to connect to IDEAL host controller. An attempt will be made to connect the device to the BEST AVAILABLE host controller."
(2) "Connection unsuccessful - driver error".

The USB device no longer appears at the host (Win 7) but will not connect to the guest (which may be explained above if i could understand what that means in plain English).
What's wrong today ??
