This looks like mac level disk failure. The section of the Mac hard drive where the vmdk file is residing is failing.
I recommend you to test it by trying to copy the windows7.vmwarevm file to a different location like your Desktop.
Copy Windows 7.vmwarevm file to your desktop and try launching windows from it directly.
If you get any errors while copying, post the error message.
