I have a USB Oscilloscope that does not have 64 bit drivers for Windoes 7. So I thought I would try a virtual machine. Should I be able to install the 32 bit version (which runs on XP) into VMware player?
Generally speaking I'd say yes however having never used a USB Oscilloscope I can't speak to it specifically.
I can't get player to install the USB driver and recognize the device.
That provides us with nothing analyzable so not sure what help you expect. You need to provide any error messages, install logs if any and are there any flags in Device Manager, specifically with USB or anything in System Events to help diagnose/troubleshoot the issue!
