Hi, we execute the procedure to store VM metrics in cassandra using VCD Virtual Appliance
1. How long is going to take the metrics to show in the GUI?
2. Is there a command to verify VCD and Cassandra are getting along? I checked the cell-management-tool cassandra but I did'nt finnd anyhting related
2. We're only seeing the main VCD cell (we deployed 3 cells per best practices) talking to the Cassandra Cluster, is that normal?

I deleted the snapshot files you mentioned, and now I'm getting an error and the vm won't boot.
I originally tried removing the snapshot through the snapshot manager and it didn't do anything. I then went into the directory and deleted them, and the vm is now giving the error below.

anyone can help me with installing VMWare Horizon version 5.3 on windows 10. Each time i try the install it either fails or uninstalled itself within seconds of completion. I tried turning off malware software in vain.
Any ideas how to fix the issue and make the installation stick would be great.

However, the tree value picker for the parent organizational unit is not limited to the OU specified in the rootOU attribute. What am I missing here?

I see loginsight will literally ingest anything from any ip as long as its sent to it.
How can I prevent this happening, and only allow ingestion from a selected list of machines/ip addresses?
Would I have to somehow edit the firewall on the appliance manually?

I had to do the following when it came down to allow customization when creating vm's. Hope this help.
1. Create a role.
2. Give the following permission.
a. VirtualMachine.Provisioning.Modify customization specification
b. VirtualMachine.Provisioning.Read customization specification
3. Apply the new role at your vCenter to the required group but don't propagate down.
That fix my problem.

Are you sure its no being overridden by the horizon client since the horizon client can pass that information through.
To sort of get back to basics here, are you able to identify the package/app that is causing the reinstall? I ask because we were running into a similar issue where after installing an update to Firefox (in an appstack) the Skype for Business plugin for Firefox was no longer "installed" causing office to repair itself just to place a single .dll file in the Firefox plugins directory.
There should be an MSIinstaller, TrustedInstaller, or OSPP event in the system or application logs that can give you more info about what is triggering the Office install/repair.
Suppose that you created an application using the best technologies, and it is so good that it is at the top of the recommendation algorithms. But then you can understand that you need to make a pivot for survival. But you no longer have a budget and you cannot make changes to occupy your niche in the market. Therefore, you do not need exactly the same technology as Uber to test the service and acquire users. You need a product with a minimum of functions in order to understand whether you are moving in the right direction, and then to develop an app like Uber. What do you think?
